There are five generation of
computers. The described of different generation of computers are given
bellow:-
First generation (1942-1955):
· Big
in size and heat generated;
· Making
in value and vacuum tube;
· Small
memory;
· Use
magnetic drum;
· Program
execute by coding;
· Costly
in use of power , troubleshoot and maintence.
Second generation
(1955-1964):
· Circuit
board used to making the modular design;
· More
reliable and maximum capacity;
· Used
transistor;
· Magnetic
